Wardell Bridge
Allround Group (formerly PC Scaffolding and Rigging) have been engaged to undertake scaffolding work at Wardell Bridge on the NSW North Coast for blasting and painting work. Being a Lifting Span bridge the task of scaffolding both towers and the underside using a suspended platform was challenging.
The design had to conform to weight restrictions as well as maintain access in and around the supporting steel structure. This was achieved using deck to deck and deck to ledger transoms. The design minimised the need for tube and coupler.
