Digester tank scaffold
MI Scaffold were engaged to install a full internal scaffold in a digester tank for weld-seam inspection and repair. The Layher Allround scaffolding system was the ideal product to create the required bay sizes, and to provide the accessibility that was needed to ensure the works were carried out in a safe manner and on schedule.
MI Scaffold’s methodology was to install single bays to a top deck height of 20m, each of which was linked every 2m. A single stairway bay was installed that provided ease of access to all levels.
The client was very happy with the finished scaffold, and stated how clean the overall project looked. The client also confirmed that the ability to gain access to all required areas was excellent.
