Marine Scaffolding was confident that they would be able to make a great improvement to their client’s usual environmental impact and productivity in the assembly of their temporary encapsulation structures.
Working closely with Layher’s technical team, a design was developed that took advantage of the extensive integrated range of Layher products and accessories. The finished structure was based on core elements of the Layher Allround Lightweight (LW) scaffolding system, together with Keder XL roofing. Encapsulation of the walls was achieved by way of Layher’s Protect panels.
The assembly process was swift and efficient. The roof was lifted into position by means of a substantial forklift, and locally sourced roof sheets were then smoothly drawn into position.
This project is another example of why Marine Scaffolding is leading the way in maintenance services to the Australian marine and super-yacht industries.
Juan Koegelenberg and Hamish Houghton, directors of Marine Scaffolding, said “Our installation went smoothly; entirely in accordance with our design and the specification. Most importantly, our client was delighted with the outcome.”
