Safe scaffolding solution for spire demolition
After the rejection of numerous proposals involving alternative scaffolding products, Site-Wide Scaffolding secured this contract by presenting to their client a clever and cost-effective design using their Layher Allround Scaffolding system.
The requirement was to provide a safe method of work to allow access for the manual dismantling of the St Mark’s Anglican Church spire in Wollongong. The decision in favour of Site-Wide hinged on clear safety and efficiency advantages.
The pre-assembly of 4m scaffolding sections at ground level eliminated work at height. These sections were then crane-handled into position. Site-Wide quickly completed the structure, and conducted the scaffolding hand-over to a delighted client.
