Scaffold suspended off bridge
Allround Group (formerly PC Scaffolding and Rigging) were contracted by TBS Contract Services for the Network Alliance to build suspended scaffolds for the refurbishment of this heritage-listed bridge. Layher’s aluminium beams provided an efficient method of erection and also the required strength.
Mick Pitter, Site Manager for TBS Contract Services said, “Throughout the Como Bridge refurbishment Allround Group (formerly PC Scaffolding and Rigging) were professional in all aspects of the scaffolding contract from knowledge of the Layher Scaffold System through to their dedication to safety at all times.
To attempt doing the scaffold out of any other scaffold system would have added many man hours on to the job. By Allround Group (formerly PC Scaffolding and Rigging) using the Layher Scaffold they were able to provide a quality product on time to accommodate our time table and assist in the completion of the project.”
