Wind Blast Protection
The replacement of cladding on substantial plant enclosures is usually a simple process. However, in this case adjacent plant structures at a lower level required a bridged solution. Integral Scaffolding took up the challenge. Working closely with Layher’s technical team, a 18m truss was designed using Layher’s FW System. The structure was assembled at Integral’s depot and then transported to site.
The FW System truss was lifted by crane and positioned on pre-built towers to form the bridge. Thereafter, each lift of Layher Allround Lightweight scaffolding was assembled at ground level and craned into position to complete the scaffold.
Exceptional productivity and the elimination of working at height were the hallmarks of Integral’s impressive execution of this project.
